A&B Chapter 22 Reflection
How to or how not to use sources responsibly, that is the question. It is also what this text addresses. I like how in section 22.2 it describes the differences between summary, paraphrasing, and quotation and it tells you in what instances each is appropriate and also in what instances they are not appropriate to use. I like how in the examples the book gives it highlights what is ok to do in blue and what is not ok to do in red. I felt like that was very helpful and having a visual made the text clearer and more understandable and easier to follow. I thought it was helpful that the book shows how to site differently and how it shows you mistakes people sometimes unintentionally make when citing which leads to unintentional plagiarism. It's also nice that there were many helpful suggestions on how to avoid plagiarism. There was a whole chart on things you can do. In summary, very helpful reading. If anyone plagiarizes after reading this text then they are indeed very very dumb.
